    Having just been on the PNE forum, I got reminded of this very inoffensive word. It's very inoffensive until you stick it at the end of a sentence. Then to me it takes on a bit of aggression. Especially if you spit it out.

    i think fella is the revised version of mate...which i absolutley hate...don't call me mate you prick you don't know me!
