Hi there, does anyone own a Viking Torino? Have read a few good thigns about them on here. Swinging between this and an Airlite 100. If the Viking has rear rack mount eyelets I think I will go for this one. Anyone know if it does?
Afraid I couldn't tell you, but if you want the Viking and it doesn't have mounts, you can get panniers which attach to your seat post.

Let me know when you get it Rob.Thanks ...
Took the plunge and bought it. I think I am going to try 'P-Clamps' Very excited!
Bike has arrived, looks fantastic! Unfortunately can't ride it until next weekend though. Need to figure out a way of getting a rack on now! The geometry is far more 'aggressive' than anything I am used to. Can't wait to do some fast days out, see how far I can cover. Not so sure about how it will fare in the occasional touring department though - can't imagine it being the most comfortable ride! But obviously knew that would be the case getting a road bikeLet me know when you get it Rob.
Pleased for you, I got mine the day I set off for London from Dewsbury in 2008, part to do the W.N.B.R. in London, and secondly to rise money for missing people, (mum had been missing 22 years at the time) didnt get much for the latter not being an outwardly going person I found it difficult raising money. When i picked it up in the afternoon I didn't even know how to change gear, fitted the rack and panniers and set off, got as for as Barnsley and had to stop as I had no lights, just as well it was June, might I had I hadn't been on a road bike in about 12 years at that point.Bike has arrived, looks fantastic! We found out what happened last year, the police did a lot of digging that we could never have done (this was after the discovery of a body very close to where she went missing in 86, and the body had been there a similar time frame), it turns out she ended up in London (ironic that really) and died od an O.D. in 95 aged 49, just by about 2 wks, which I am older than my mum when she died.Quite a story, sorry to hear that Nigel, that's terrible. But that's a great thing to do, well done.
Lights.. another thing I need to get!
Thanks, my mind still hasn't coped with it.Nigel very sorry to hear that. I am glad you finally found out the truth of it all though - that is something, I suppose.
Those lights are crazy! You're not gonna get missed with those on that's for sure. Had no idea bike lights could be so good, or expensive!
Going to do up my old 80s steel racer for touring. Comfier riding position, made of steel, and generally more suitable for touring I feel. Does need a fair bit of attention though
Thanks, my mind still hasn't coped with it.
I did got missed one night and got knocked off, nothing major, just a little brush, hi-vis jacket too.
I got a 80-90's Raleigh knocking about in a shed on Skye if its still there.Had a Gitane in the 80's.
I think you can put 700c on, there's not much between them, just check on the the space on the rear axle. I would need to look it up, but you might also get away with fitting a 7sp.Lucky escape then!
Cool... Mine is a 1982 (i think) Dawes Fox. Going to put some new wheels on this weekend although need 27" which are harder to find. Maybe a new paint job too
