Panobike sensors and Android

I am interested in getting the cadence sensor and the hr moniter for use with MMR premium. I am also getting a new phone to use with the sensors. I hope to get the sony xperia E1 model. It has version 4.3 android and version 4 Bluetooth. I will also use the hr strap for walk/running so I hope to get good use from them. This phone is available at reasonable cost that im happy to use on a bike. I wouldent use anything like an I phone or expensive galaxys etc.


Is anyone using this setup and how well does it work.

Well It's very good, I have it paired with Wahoo app and it uploads to Strava etc very easily

Good to know it works well. I presume you're using Android 4.3 or newer ?

I might get the hr moniter also best price I've seen is nearly 60 Euro online. I don't think Halfords stock the sensors/ hr monitor here in Ireland.

My Panobike CSAC sensor worked with my Android 4.3 equipped Samsung S3, using the Panobike app, so should work fine with the Xperia. From my experience trying to get my computer to see it (for development), it's a standard BTLE sensor.
