It is, just worded in a different way.I always thought it was - scissors cut paper; paper wraps rock; rock breaks scissors.
Which makes it almost logical.
But in the OP's diagram, it just says "beats". No wonder he has never really understood it, as there is no logic as to WHY one beats the other. At least the version I heard gives some sort of logical reasoning. Errm, I thinkIt is, just worded in a different way.
