Are very morish

If you like your takeaway shop curry, and want a nice cheap accompaniment to it, get yourself into the frozen food section ofTesco's (or oriental food shop) as they have 2 packs of 5 for 99p

If you have never had them, they are a Malaysian thing, about the size of a Chapati, but are made up with flakey pastry.
Stick them in a frying pan on a medium heat and keep turning until they blow and are golden brown (about 3 minutes)

Yum

The ones I've been buying for a few years now (not in Tescos) all originate in Malaysia. I've got family in KL & Singapore, and they were posting aobut them on FB last week (they are proper foodies)

Could be wrong though

Edit.. Indian immigrants took them to Malaysia (which my cousins descended from)

Indian as India and still a weekend delight. I normally have them after a long Sunday morning ride as they are very fattening :morish
