Love that part of the world and vaguely remember Parbold & Billenge etc, but many decades since it was my training ground. But coincidentally, will be visiting an Uncle next couple of days in Prescot and If there is room in the car, my bike will be coming as well. Won't have time to get to Parbold, but going to try an old route via Eccleston, Windle, Crank, Rainford and back.

Crank - what a great name for a cycling destination.

Yep done em both , was chuffed as id hit Parbold after 90 miles out !
