The Parks Police do this every few months or so - they also come down hard on people having BBQs on the Common!

A different kind of euphemism: (hot) dogging, spit roasting etc. Tooting Bec Common is the height of lubricity at night...

nah even sillier than that, I cut under the railway bridge so get on the common at Drewstead Road, and off again at Sternhold Avenue, where the Police where stood.

it's such a good cut through from Streatham to Clapham, it should just be cycle approved,

Do you know who I should email at Wandsworth about it and I'll CC you in?

Apologies, I know where you mean now. That will be Lambeth Borough - try Lambeth Cyclists for advice.

Dellzeqq (of this parish) should be able to give you some pointers too - he's a few hundered meters away from there...

Typoos galloore!

I was chuckling at your competition to get closer to the common than each other…. Pretty soon one of you is going to find someone who actually lives *ON* the common and then we shall all have to bow to their knowledge! ;)

Oh, I win that - on a clear day, with the right trajectory and a prevailng wind I can hit TB Common with a gob-full of spit.

Dell is an ex CTC councillor and campaigned for cyclists to have access to the Common. I think he partially regrets it now...

An action which could be interpreted in different ways on said common, depending on whether it were day or night.
