Maybe they were disgruntled about the Sloaney Pony's bar tariffs?

In which case I'm surprised they didn't have a go at Putney Bridge, and the nearby Duke's Head.
Ah yes, but where else can you get quite so many beers with unpronounceable names, that will put you in a coma, if you neck too many of them?

Isn't the randomness of it part of the terror? To give people the impression that even in some out of the way spot, you still aren't safe.

Trains through Parsons Green are Wimbledon to City( Tower Hill in reality) at that time of day .they go through Victoria . This event at Victoria would result in evacuation .which means thousands all stood outside in road . Easy target for a lorry .... same for most stations along way in Zone 1 .

We were warned in work 4 weeks ago about dispersing if Fire Alarm gets activated . Rather than congregating on busy thoroughfares ....

Attacking Parsons Green, is akin to playing 'flaming sh1t bags' at a remote cottage. Not really very effective.
Not quite true, Parsons Green is classified as a depot and has quite a lot of sidings were trains are berthed both overnight and during the day. So it could certainly have a more detrimental effect on the District Line than you may know. It was one of the stations I managed for years,a few years ago. Although personally I don't think it would have been the reason for the device going off at PG.

That is the line from Ealing Broadway into town. It's always crowded in the mornings.
