Sounds like it didn't go off properly thank goodness. At around 8:15am that train would have been pretty packed. A lucky escape for many I guess...

On a serious note, echoing the previous thoughts, luckily it looks like it either a) was an attention grabber/panic inducer, or b) didn't go off properly. No reports of serious injuries yet. Very sad, and has reinforced my desire to cycle commute.

My understanding is that bombs are very difficult to make and there's an awful lot of very high level misinformation on how to make them from our security services floating around out there.

Seems at this point as if most of the injuries were caused by the stampede off the train rather than the device itself.
