Hi,
I am having a crack at the cycle to work scheme, and hope to get a Pashley Clubman Urban S2C. Does anyone have a Pashley, and if so, what do you think of them ?
Thanks
Paul

The wife inherited an old Pashley, she loves it. It is built like a tank, the same weight and stops like an oil tanker. A real hoot to tart around on though. She also gets lots of compliments, but that might be just because of the wicker basket. I have a love hate relationship with it, especially when it comes to maintenance.

Thanks for that. From what I have read, I am beginning to think they are well respected.

They are well respected. They are usually quite heavy but I think the clubman is probably lighter and it is well smart!!

A friend of mine has the derailleur version of the Clubman. It's not the latest word in hi Tec, but is nicely thought out, well finished, the sort of bike you'll still be using in 40 years if you look after it.
