Pashley Soverign Princess - problems with brakes?

Hi

I have a Pashley and is the recent stormy weather, my bike blew over and one of the brake levers sheared off! Has anyone else had any problems? I bought it thinking it was a safe, sturdy bike.

Welcome to the forum Julie. You did buy a sturdy bike , the brakes arent designed to have the bike dropped on them.

I have a Pashley Britannia and I don't have much faith in the kick stand after mine also fell over, no damage done to my break lever though.
