Raspberry Pi project more or less done. Not that I'd dare let it open or close my curtains without me being there to oversee it. It has already pulled my curtain rail down twice.

I love the Rpi stuff.
Think i've mentioned before that i have one as a media player but it also monitors the latitude of my lounge, deriving a figure from a baramoetric sensor!
Have another pi filming a bird table.

Nice project, well beyond my ability. You can barely see the mechanism!

You would have been able to see it if it had been filmed in landscape which would avoid the constant moving of the camera to show the various parts.

Yeah, the contact sensors are not very reliable.
