The weather here in Manchester has not been bad at all -- makes a nice change! I've been on the bike all the time, the car is getting only weekly Sunday outings to Tesco to keep the battery going

I don’t know if it’s me just getting old, but this winter I just can’t get warm on the bike and this year I have only ridden 150 miles

I don't mind the cold and even icy conditions don't really bother me.

But I absolutely hate with a passion the rain and the wind.

If it's chucking it down, I wont commute on the bike.

'Tis a personal choice. I've got two cars here and just don't see the point of having to get soaked to the skin and blown around all over the place if I don't need to.

I would much rather be on the bike but sometimes I look out the window and think "What on earth is the point?".
