No, TC, that is a perfectly legitimate observation, and something which gives me no end of a worrying dilemma. I'm supposed to be an astro fan: therefore I'm supposed to regard Sir PM as some sort of god, aren't I? All the astro forums idolise him. But his past support for Apartheid SA and other nasty organisations, plus his grossly sexist remarks about women on TV, of much more recently, really bother me.

Our local Astro Soc., whose meetings I go along to, has organised one of its regular trips to go and visit PM next month (as I said, he welcomes small groups of visitors into his house by prior arrangement). I've passed up on this opportunity, as I did last time. TBH I'd like to go, one day, seeing as I've never met the bloke. I see as many good points in the man as I see bad points. Isn't that what having a personality is all about?
