Did anyone see Paul Kimmidge on breakfast telly this morning? He's written a book about an England under 21 rugby player who broke his neck in a scrum. I can't remember the name of the unfortunate chap off-hand, unfortunately. I wonder whether such a subject matter would make for great reading, but I have to say, I thought Kimmidge's book, Rough Ride, was one of the best books I've read on cycling, and the best biography/autobiography.

It's about Matt Hampson and is apparently an excellent book and well worth a read.

According to what I have read on a rugby forum I go to it is a powerful emotional book. It also says that funds from the book will go to Matts Foundation, which was set up to help young people who suffer serious sporting injuries , so well worth buying a copy.

Try Bad Blood. If you haven't. Gives quite an interesting take on Kimmage amongst others.
