no budget for a proper professional job. a large chunk broke off & a cpl years ago & I used cold patch & another product on top to smooth it out. it was right where my elderly mother would get out of the car so I figured it was worth the effort for a little more stability
she has since moved out but there's this line of depressed & cracked surface I thought I would try filling in. only have a n hour or so to give it w/ each visit so my ambitions are modest. it's probably not necessary but neglecting it makes me sad
last trip I experimented w/ a new product we're carrying at the store where I have a part time job
seemed to work OK
don't know off I'll get to do the whole length of this degrading area. doing it in the dark w/ just a headlamp is not ideal but I live 200 miles away & can only get there after work. those dark patches in the grass are flat stones
it hardened overnight but likely needs more dry time before applying sealer. it's all water based so maybe it's ok that I cheated. I'll check on it in a cpl weeks. is it weird that this is fun for me?
I can smooth / blend the edges of the patch material with another type of product. I'll see how I feel about it
the triangular repair from a cpl years ago is just below the area I worked on yesterday. been using liquid crack filler in some spots but that doesn't really fill the lengthwise depression. I've got a picture of the whole length from this angle somewhere. gotta hunt for it
