Running out of space on the Laptop?
I checked what was going on and found that I had nearly 9 Gig of 'restore points'.

All deleted and just the one created now..

nah, I reckon this will be when @PeteXXX finds out he has a problem and the only restore point he left was the first one some 10 years back....a lot of reinstalling to do.

I back up the laptop to an external drive once a month, just in case..

The recycle bin is a good waste of space as well!

The disk cleanup option usually works well when you click on system files option as you can remove old update files.

I've gone back to laptops or a tablet with built in keyboard

Every week I run the CCleaner utility, a free download and it is amazing how much crap it finds on the PC

There's a setting to limit the number of redtore points kept (somewhere.).

CCleaner is great, amazing the amount of stuff windows hoards away for no real reason.

Also watch the Internet cache. With the massive hard drives now the temporary files just keep filling up. Ccleaner regularly gets rid of over 2gb of junk

I do this every few weeks. Nothing's blown up yet...
