PC Monitor/tv?

Looking for a small screen to share these duties but getting confused in all the tech jargon.
Have seen the following which look ok to my eyes :

I have a Talk Talk box that will take care of tv functions (hopefully). Will be a general usage as opposed to gaming,editing, design, etc.
Any knowledgeable advice or suggestions greatly appreciated.

Not tried any of those but the Samsung is PLS and the rest are IPS.

Original LED's were TN - very fast for gaming but so-so on colours.

IPS gave better colours but some monitors blurred the motion on faster games.

PLS aimed to keep the colour but also resolve any motion problems.

I suspect that if you are not gaming then the £99 monitors will be ok. I usually check on the reviews at Amazon as they are a good guide - eg http://www.amazon.co.uk/HP-Pavilion-23XI-LCD-Monitor/dp/B00A7MDBA2
