PCO contact details

Does anyone know of anyway to report bad driving etc.. to the PCO. looked on the TFL website and all i can see is a generic e-mail address.

Is it worth reporting it to them? will they do anything?

Have you had a look on your local police force website... our one has a link to our area and then information on who is the beat person for that area, and you can leave them a message if I remember rightly.

I would love to have reported the driver who did a u-turn in the road in front of me... whilst on the phone... and when he saw me shaking my head - used his other hand to make a rude gesture at me whilst still carrying on his phone call!!!

I thought there was a link on here the other day about reporting bad driving in London... I didn't read it though so don't know if it would help.

I'm planning on using that as well. but the PCO manages london taxi's

The PCO/TFL will not deal with complaints about bad driving - that's a police matter.

That said, did the cabbie swear at you? If so, you've got grounds to complain to the PCO.

Will they do anything about private taxi's not displaying the badges they should?

Yes, they will. IIRC, they need to have displayed their private hire vehicle licence disc and the driver should also wear a PHV badge.
