Pearson Touché chain

I have a Pearson Touche which doesn’t have a chain. What is the “standard” width chain it takes?
3/32?

Is it running fixed or single speed? If single speed its most likely 3/32, if its fixed it could be 3/32 or 1/8.

By the look of their website modern Pearsons run 1/8" half link chains.

Halfords sell Clarks 1/8" half link chains for a tenner.

The pitch is the same for 1/8" or 3/32", so presumably either size would fit.

Thanks both. I went to the Pearson website, but must have had a blind moment, as I didn't see the chain size on there!!

Right at the bottom of the box labelled "features". Can't really see why they use half link though, there should be enough adjustment with track ends to use a normal chain.

I had a Pearson Touche and that used an ordinary 1/8" chain.

It could be either as they let you choose when the bike is built up.

1/8th will work happily on 3/32nd rings / sprockets. 3/32nd won't work happily on 1/8th rings/sprockets. If in any doubt get 1/8th. Keep any spare links once fitted, plus a spare quick-link, in case you change to a larger sprocket.
