pedal bearings

i just got those in the post http://www.superstarcomponents.com/en/cnc-nano-thru-pin-pedals.htm
One side is twice as resisting/sticky when turning the axle by hand.
Does the panel think that riding them for a few hours might solve the problem? or should I return them for an exchange ?

Just ride. Usually a little tight. If there is any roughness, then return, otherwise ok.

Superstar are a good bunch in my experience... ride for a hundred miles or so (not all in one go necessarily!) and if still stiff get in touch with them.

Initially they should be slightly sticky if packed with grease. If they are packed with grease then when trying spin by finger they should stop instantly. This gives way very quickly after a few miles.

Smooth resistance to rotation is fine. Notchy resistance to rotation means the bearings are much too tight.
