Despite what people on here would have you believe, no-one will give you a medal for cycling in horrendous weather. I don't think there is any shame is eyeing up a monsoon/gale combo through the rain-spattered windows and thinking "Nah, not today".

So, no I never get sick of it because I take the cosy option when it's chucking it down, and get the tube

I would only get the tube if there is ice and snow.

How about a Trek Soho - belt drive, hub gears, drum brakes. Nothing to clean or oil!
