Anyone ridden it recently? Off to North Wales tomorrow and contemplating doing it rather than Llandegla or the Marin but mixed reviews from people, with some saying it is so overgrown it is not worth riding.

It is slightly overgrown , I would do either Marin or Degla . Depends where your based really.

We went and did The Beast at Coed y Brenin instead. Still want to do Penmachno, but might wait for a bit and see if it improves. Off up to the lakes at the weekend for a bit more off road fun.

Not sure of the route yet. My mates sorting that. We have our 13 year olds in tow, so probably not too taxing.
