Next in the garage is this 2012 specialized secteur that the previous owner claims it's only done less than 500 miles.

Well it's been de dusted and tyres have been inflated and a selle smp has been added all ready for testing now

This has left outside a nearby house for a couple of days along with some of old bits and pieces.

It's a Carrera Subway one that needs a bit of tlc . So tyres will be inflated, chain re positioned then a gentle assessment

Same model as my Winter beater. Albeit only F+F, stem and rear derailleur remain from original now.

There was a BMX that got ‘dumped’ on my road last year. I left it a week and tucked it inside my gate. Another week and no-one had knocked or appeared to be missing it - so I thought I’d take a look. Struck me as being super low quality and I decided it was ‘worthless’. Although it was absolutely rideable.

I put it back at the end of the road, at the junction and standing up against the road sign so that everyone could see it. Took another couple of weeks to disappear. Even in Lowestoft !

You should have put a cheap lock on it - itmwohkd have been gone within 10 minutes.

It was free.

Gave the tyres some air , the chain some lubricant and dusted the biggest cobwebs away.

Bars are scabby and it's got some patina but in all fairness it rides ok on its initial first ride around the block.

Yes lol, put a lock on a box with garbage and the next day it's gone.
