And this is what they landed, weighing one tonne. Phew!

I watched it with my 10 year old son in the NASA youtube feed. He is rarely able to pay attention to anything for more than 20 minutes or so, but we watched for an hour and a half, and he was hooked on it, following the commentary and trying to work out things on his own. We may yet get an engineer or a scientist out of him.
