As the weatherman was wrong again, i went out for a nice ride this morning.

Took it nice and gentle, not my usual attempt at trying to break the sound barrier

Went from Coventry to tile hill, balsall common, Hatton, Claverdon, warwick, leamington, kenilworth back to coventry....

In all 35 miles, to my supprise i did this at a 14mph average.

Im very happy with my progress.


Soon be able to go on a audax.

You will feel delighted if you break your own speed limits and averages. It is just beginning to happen for me too. I am delighted at times.

Still sore, but took some pain killers and got on with it , mainly neck and left arm, damn whiplash.
Fortunatley neck bones are ok.

Poor little car is not so lucky, cant open the boot ets so cant get the bike anywhere.

Hopefully will be fixed soon, and ill be out to play,

I found some good hills to play on over this way, so hopefully you wont have to wait so long for me next time
