Can anyone recommend a personal DAB/FM radio please.

I would like to take the radio with me on my jaunts particularly when the football starts again.

I do realise that some mobile phones have these built in but I only have my work mobile which doesn't have this facility and have no intention of buying another phone.

Signal reception and sound quality are more important than price at this moment

Thanks in advance for any help

I use this Roberts one. It's OK in major towns/ cities but a lot less so in between. For example it gets patchy DAB signal when I cycle to Cambridge until I'm on the edge of the place. It's also rather pricey and eats batteries like there's no tomorrow (as do most DAB sets). It will probably do the job fine for most people though, the sound quality is good and it has FM as well. But for rather dull, fussy radio anoraks like myself, I'm rather disappointed in it!

I much prefer my good old fashioned transistor radio to be honest. It cost about a tenner, gets far more stations, the batteries last ages and you don't need to be stood next to the transmitter to pick up a signal. The Roberts R9924 is amazingly sensitive especially on AM.

For sports (non DAB) you'd need long wave for cricket and medium wave for the rest (5 Live, Radio Cockney etc). the R9924 gets all of them as well as FM.
