PETER COULSON

[bikebum57]

Back in 1987 while stationed in Britain, I met a randonneur named Peter Coulson, from Northamptonshire. At the time, he held the UK record of 49 hours for 1000 km, and his best 24 hour time trial was 350 miles. I would like to re-connect with him, if possible. Can anyone tell me how this can be accomplished? Thank you very much. Cheerio

He seems to be a vice president of Audax UK, so I suggest you send them an email.

If you're going by this page https://www.audax.uk/results/hall-of-fame/ , bear in mind that one of the other VPs has been riding with St Peter since 2012!

So, anyway, yes AUK would be a good place to start - but don't be shocked if you don't hear back quickly. @bikebum57 keep us posted - there are AUK members here who can probably suggest other avenues. And be patient!!!
p.s. worth cross-posting this in https://www.cyclechat.net/forums/audax-brevet-randonnee.154/

The best forum for Audax is probably still https://yacf.co.uk/forum/index.php
Try posting there.

Peter is on the 300,000 mile club roll of honour (407,921 miles) but isn't listed in the current membership, which implies that he's no longer with us.
