My petition:

Exterior "No Cycling" signs changed to say "No Cycling Above Walking Pace"

All exterior signs that say "No Cycling" changed to signs that say "No Cycling Above Walking Pace". Cycling on pavements and in pedestrianised areas at walking pace is safe. Just use common sense like when walking.

The link takes me to the page for signing. Few would sign a petition without seeing the text of the petition.
"All No Cycling signs to be changed" so is this a call for cycling to be permitted on motorways?

It might be safe if you are looking solely at deaths and serious injuries, but the nuisance factor is still there, especially if you live in an area where the population are spatially incompetent. It is bad enough trying to walk along high streets with people just walking straight towards you and almost crashing into you because the extent of their visible universe is one meter from their body.
