Peugeot equipe

Hi all,
I have a Red Peugeot equipe which I have stripped and removed the paint. I was wondering if these are steel or aluminium frames, as I’ll need different primer for when I spray it.
Any info on this will be appreciated.

Equippe was a lugged steel frame for sure.

Leave it outside. If it rusts it’s steel!😂😂
