I have had this one Needs a good home, my '70s Peugeot roadster. sat in the Garage for a few weeks now since i picked it up .

Finally its top of the pile , so work commenced with the following .

Chain guard was falling of so removed that will see if i can do a repair or find a better one , some light rubbing with wire wool has cleaned up the rims , took the knackered world tours off and fitted some good used ones i had lying in the garage , gave the wheel bearings some fresh grease .

if the tyres are still inflated this morning i might even treat it to a little commute or 2 today , so i can do a few miles and get a better idea of what other work is required .

I can remember those wing nuts from the sixties. If you could afford qr hubs you got those.
I used them on fixed wheel hubs.

I spent a while the other night struggling to refit the rear wheel due to the fact i had the wing nuts on the wrong way round as the one on the drive side is a different style to clear the rear mechanism ^_^

I used them on fixed wheel hubs.

And i bet they looked better than normal nuts
