I have a Hewlett Packard printing system on my PC. When I want tp print a picture sent in an e-mail, it appears with hundreds of others in the Photo Printing Wizard. There are about 800 in there and I would like to get rid of them. I've tried everything I can think of but so far, no luck.
How the hell do I do it? It's driving me crazy!
Thanks, Jim.

Shudda got an Epson.

There will probably be a folder somewhere, I don't know whether it is more likely to be the HP printing system or, possibly, a Windows (are you using Windows or Mac) folder.

Easiest option, IMO, is to do a search your c: for .jpg files, throw in some file names if you can see them in your preview window. If there's 800 in one place, then that should be pretty obvious from any search results listing.

However, it's also possible that the only thing the HP software holds is thumbnails with a re-direct to the original files. If that's the case, there may be 800 of them but they'll take little space on your hard disk.

I think the clue here is that you say you're printing an email and I imagine that your email is on a webmail service (Hotmail, Gmail etc).

So here's my guess; the photo is going in your temporary internet folder and the images you're seeing are everything that is in there, so, I would clear my browsing history or temporary internet files or whatever your browser calls it. If you're on Internet Explorer go here and click the FixIt button.

Try *.jpeg on a search. this will bring up every picture saved in that format on your computer. You can then delete the ones you don't neeed.

I have HP Photo & Imaging Gallery & it does bring a load of pictures that are never needed. There is however the option to delete the pictures if no longer required.

You could also try My pictures & My Videos if your using Windows & delete from those folders
