Cats brought this little owl in a few years back. It was completely unharmed and it flew off once I opened the window.

There was a massive cat flap commotion during the night but it quickly died down and we assumed that whatever had been brought in was dead and could wait till morning to sort out. Wrong - this owl had spent the rest of the night perched on a curtain rail.

Thought I'd resurrect this thread (since there's so many talented photographers on here who's work I'd like to look at) but mostly to say...

... +1 for photobox. They've been great for me in the past and their customer service is awesome.

Anyway, just to keep this thread running, here's a few more of mine. I'm still a big fan of film, I just haven't had the money recently. But I did get an iPhone, and although I've not been a fan of the cleanliness and perfection of digital photography, (and the iphone is seen as a crap digital camera as it's only 3mp), the Hipstamatic app is fulfilling my need for analogue looking pics. It's the only camera I'll have on me all the time and the random/unpredictable results are starting to win me over.

Anyway...

Nice pics, and a bit different.

It's not the megapixels though IMO, 3MP is more than enough for standard size prints. I think it's more to do with the optics, they are never any good on phones. The best phone camera I had was on a Sony Ericson Cybershot phone, auto focusing and flash, but still very poor results compared to a normal Canon 3MP camera.

I used to enjoy film, but being an amateur I wasted loads on crap shots, waiting to get the pics back and being disappointed, so digital helps me here. That said, some old prints that were stuck in a box out the way considered no good have a certain appeal when looking at them again a few years later.
