what camera equipment do you use? You're rides seem to be perpetually bright and sunny (even those in the rain).

I am currently using a Kodak C1013 Digital Camera and then use photo software on my PC to correct any problems.

Lovely shots which bring back memories for me. The last time I saw Skiddaw House was between Skiddaw and Great Calva on the Bob Graham Round(or was it between GC and Blencathra?).

Is Skiddaw House higher than Black Sail Pass YH?

Loved the cake, orchid and thistle pictures! The former owner of our house was Scottish and every summer up pops many variants of thistle all of them much the same colour as your photo.
