Hi!
I've got some web images which are for the navigation bar of a website....they are for the background to the buttons and things and have a fade on them.

I need to change the 'colour' of the images (I have gifs, jpegs...not PSD files) to match other HEX codes for different shades of blue and to convert some so they are similar but with a grey colour.

I've been trying to use some of the options within: image/adjustments, but not had much luck.

So any advice?

Separate the different colours into different layers, it might make it easier to manipulate them.

Ah, I thought it was a more complex image than that.

You need to adjust the hue. If you are using PhotoShop, Enhance > Adjust Color > Adjust Hue/Saturation or Ctrl+U, then you get exactly the slider you are looking for. Other programs will also have a slider to adjust the hue.

PS also, I think, gives you the option to replace colours, which does pretty much the same thing.

BTW, those menus are from PS Elements 5.0, which is a few years old, but I don't think Adobe changes things much.
