Any phrase spoken by Kier Starmer. Hes become the sort of politico who can't open his mouth to do anything except criticise someone else, probably to disguise his own lack of insight. Hes become the Piers Morgan of politics, and we can only hope that Jeremy Clarkson also punches him as he did Piers.

More a grammatical thing than a phrase, but terms like “would of,” “should of” and “could of” are quite annoying....

“he should of been here half an hour ago”

Improper use of "myself"
Heard it again this morning on the radio, e.g. "Myself and my daughter were in the park..." instead of "My daughter and I were in the park..."

EDIT: or to make it even worse, "So, myself and my daughter..."

Argh! That one annoyed me yesterday, some lady being interviewed said:
"And then people bring these things to ourselves".

No love, it's simply "us". "They bring them to us".

Overrated

The meaning seems to be: A thing that many people think is good. I dislike it but I don't have the courage of my convictions to call it "bad", so I'll settle for "overrated".

In fact, I'd say that the word overrated is ... er ... complete cack. ;)
