Hello! I'm new to riding. I just moved to Ireland from the United States and I am trying to assist my cycle obsessed boyfriend refurbish an old Picador for me to use. We need wheels & the gear apparatus and are hitting dead ends and no replies with every search.
I have reached out to Pashley in the UK , BikeMe in Dublin, High Nelly in Limerick, Zane's Cycle in Branford CT (my former home town).
Can anyone help me?

Can't you get a bike shop to rebuild the wheels. May be cheaper than replacing them. Plus no hard to find tyre sizes.

That lot state:
We don’t ship bikes, accessories or spares outside mainland England, Wales and Scotland.

So not much use to the OP, sadly. Or even anyone on the Isle of Wight, Anglesey or Arran.
Indeed. But it would still be possible to ship to anywhere without too much effort. Heck, I'd do it for folk as long as my expenses are covered. I'm sure better options exist...
