I know you are entitled to put any pedals you like on any bike, but I (and I'm sure many others) are wondering WHY on THAT bike. Have you had traumatic experiences with clipless pedals? What is the point of those wheels, those bars, full Dura Ace ('except the calipers'), 6.75KG, and then 'halfords specials'? OK you can buy any bike you like, and spend as much as you like, I'm not saying you shouldn't, and I expect you can ride twice as fast as I ever could, but, but, but I'm intrigued?Yeah put some halfords specials on
one more post on here vickster...
i have tried clip ins once and crashed and the amount of damage to me and the bike compared to amount of effort saved was pointless...
have seen so many crashes with people using clip ins i dont see any point for me personally
just wanted to build a kick ass looking bike... because i can![]()
Just go anyway. It's only a bit of water. (this will come back to haunt me when I say that I haven't ridden in torrential rain)Not at all. I must get a picture up in the next day or two. Sadly a combination of weather and family commitments have left me that I have yet to get out on it for a spin to see how it handles.![]()

Will the family not understand that you have a new bike and want to go out to play?
