I posted last week that I had received a free Raleigh Traveller 7 from a friend. It was a bit of a mess so spent last weekend doing a little work on her.......here's the result! Hope this works as haven't tried posting pics for ages.

Great job, in the process of restoring three freebies that I recently acquired, unfortunately none were female bikes, I don't think any of my bikes will come out as good as yours did.

Thanks for the lovely comments. The previous owner saw the bike yesterday and was blown away. I think she was secretly gutted but deep down couldn't be bothered to spend the time and effort on cleaning her up. She did get a brand new dutch bike for Christmas....but give me this beauty any day......although short trips to the station and the pub only as she's a beast to get up a hill!
