In Excel 2007, just click on the segment you want to change, then use the colour fill thing (paint bucket icon)

Click the segment of the pie to select it, and right click to show menu. On menu choose "Format Data Point" and change the colour in there. If it says "Format data series" instead, click the segment of the pie again to select it rather than the whole pie, then right click etc.

click once on the pie that you want to change, it will select the entire pie, then click on the slice you want to change, this will then become selected, now right click on the selected slice and pick Format Data Point and then select a color.

Edit : too slow ... mike is quicker than me ;)

Thanks, you lot. I'm bloody sure I'd tried that but it didn't work until you lot confirmed it. Spooky:biggrin:
