I don't know if anyone's already mentioned it but that looks more like a steak and kidney pie or a chicken and mushroom pie, than a meat and potato. Spud pies don't have puff pastry tops like the one in the OP's picture.

I'm hungry...Wigan pies are a thing of wonder..easily the best in the uk...yeah ok someone will pipe up with a bloody 10 quid pie they had in chipping norton at a gastro boulangerie but you can forget it!
