Certainly seems that would be case as the fact that no confirmed case of doping has been laid against Peopoli therefore someone must have implicated him for him to be sacked and if was he who done it then good on him for putting the boot into Ricco. He's at the end of his career anyway so he has nothing to lose by telling the truth (pity Fllyod Landis didn't have the same perspective).
Let's hope he buries Ricco where it counts in a French Court though given that he will face the same charges it may be too much to expect (do they cut deals in France).
Yep. Piepoli appears to be playing the Millar gambit, whereas Ricco is operating the Landis / Hamilton strategy. Ricco is heading for a fall. Contrition and revealing all always seems to play off better in the end and, if genuine, can only help the sport. Ricco should pay more attention to the fate off his hero, Pantani.
