Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
:laugh::laugh:
I forgot to look. There was blood pouring from my right index finger and I was screaming for my Mummy as I gazed at flap of skin hanging of it. Belinda the terrier sloped off with the sweet.
I was never quite the same again.:thumbsup:

I'm sorry for laughing.

Slow cooker amaranth. We've got some in the freezer I've not dared try yet. Apparently very nutritious but the take and texture can be a "challenge"

Pig's liver is IMHO preferable to lamb's liver, but calf liver is my favourite.

Lungs, or lights as they are traditionally called are best treated as petfood.

You were lucky. We were made to eat pancreas at school. It was better than bowls ( or should that be bowels?) of stewed fruit though. I developed a lifelong hatred of prunes, apricots, plums and all the rest of those items that look like the slops from an operating theatre.

Ironically I'm trying some liver for the first time for tomorrows dinner, I can't remember what animal it's from though.

Personally, the way I see it is why waste it? And let's face it, it's a damn sight cheaper than most other cuts of meat. (I might not have the same attitude once I've tried it though)

Thursday was liver night at our house. The day of deliverance came as my Father walked in the door and said
"Oh, it's liver night"
My Mother said"Don't you like liver?"
My Father said, "No, I thought you did."
Never saw liver again.
I'm sure you'll see him again one day:hugs:
