Anyone got one of these? I keep waking up with a headache so I'm going to get a reasonable pillow. I would like it to be big enough (I think the small will be to small) but doesn't have to be as big a a home pillow.

No - I cannot see what size they compress down to - besides I like uncompressible pillows - normally use the right hand rear pannier with the clothes in with a fleece over the top

sorry to be unhelpfull but was curious about compressible pillows

I don't know about the Thermarest, but I had an inflatable pillow and I found it really disconcerting. I now use a medium size packing cube from Muji with clothes in (it's not a cube, but hopefully you know what I'm on about). Improvising something using a stuff sack and clothes will probably give you something that feels more like a real pillow.

I have just come back from touring and used an OEX Compact self inflating pillow.

It packs down to the length of a paperback and measure
380mm x 180 x 80 and weighs 140g.

Very comfortable snd i got it and the self inflating mat from Go Outdoors.

Did the van get a good night's sleep?

I stuff the next mornings clean clothes into a small stuffsac ( the duffel style backpack that comes with Paramo jackets).
I get a pillow and I know where to find my clothes.
