Just out of the oven, waiting to be hacked up.

Edit: Now cut up on the cooling rack - restraint required to prevent tucking in.

Edit again: Gnnnnnnnnnn.....

Edit yet again: Gasp drool!

I didn't bother with the restraint bit.

They are good! Not too flapjacky, if you see what I mean. If I haven't eaten the lot I'll bring them on the FNRttC...

It's a bit more complicated than that...
As long as no one starts adding sun-dried tomatoes or balsamic vinegar...

Now you come to mention it, a drop of sweetness in the mix might be nice.

Obviously the cheese has to be grana padano, and the oats whole organic. Perhaps a pinch or two of hot smoked paprika for a kick. Or replace the sun-dried tomatoes with olives, and some of the butter with olive oil?

My baked beans-from-tins thread, ended up with the middle-classes describing how makng your own is so much healthier, doncha know.

It's the bleedin' demographic of cycling, innit?

Quality, thankyou...

I made some to have in our packing-up today - leek and potato soup, with cheese flapjacks. Rocking.

By the way, there are some phrases evocative of kitchen happiness - 'press into a baking tray' is one of them.

Behave.

Well... they don't bloody last long, do they? I had two before they cooled, two for lunch, gave one to a colleague and have just got on the train and eaten another. There are three left, and my journey is three hours long. Place your bets on there being one left for User482 when I see him at Paddington...
