PING calling all curators

Hi guys

I met with my friend yesterday and she was looking to become an art/gallery curator.

She was talking about heading into some courses to get a feel for it - I suggested some work experience but she's been finding getting a brief placement quite tricky and would like to gain some experience of putting bids/pitched in for funding and the more comprehensive side. She has been responsible for the gallery space in her current work.

Please PM or post here if you have any experience of this area as I said I would try and find out information for her.

Thanks for that Teef, I reckon she's wanting to top up her skills first as she's not ready or confident enough for a job in curating yet (I reckon if she got her writing skills up to scratch she'd be fine)
