Fnaar, Upper Ladywell? is that a posh way of saying Lewisham?
'Fraid not...though I do know Lewisham reasonably well, having once lived in SE London... I'm afraid "Upper Ladywell" is a weak joke in keeping with my CycleChat 'persona' of smutty herbert...upper = "up a" etc in a "Carry On" stylee....
Are you a Lewishamite? There used to be a nice real ale pub on Ladywell Rd, I think....
Bugger, I was about to post a similar thing, as in "Upper lady? well!" I was sure he'd made it up. (Made it up? pffft!)
Afraid not Fnaar, I wouldn't dare venture in Lewisham for the fact I might never come out alive.
It's hell if you find youself walking alone along the high street at night, but not quite as bad as Harlesden...
I know where Fnaars "house of fun " is ,but i ain`t telling
I changed my mind about the gas meter in the end....but thanks anyway!
Not many cycling Viz readers then?
i blame mr gimlet.
