Indeed...and this is where we introduce BabyWipes. They are great for cleaning tyre walls. They make any logos come up nice and clean

You scrub tyres? What's wrong with you man! Life is too short....

Completely slick tires (like the Ultremos on my Dawes) are dead easy to keep clean, about 30 seconds to a minute per tire if on a stand with a bucket of soapy water. Tires with any sort of tread (like the Rubinos on my Peugeot), on the other hand, take far too much effort!
