Were you a teacher at some stage aswell? That really is a pretty boring competition. I would much rather do something alot more manly in competition then that.
The spelling and grammer i dont think makes too much difference. This is a place to relax and have a laugh, not keep in full english essay mode.

Some people relax and have laughs as well as writing reasonable English. The two things aren't mutually exclusive.

It's about 'mature' posting, not just (for pages on end) who's got the best legs/times etc.

to be fair if anyone who takes part in or even condones the 'Tea?' thread starts lecturing others on mature posting then their position becomes automatically untenable.

Agree, but am ever so slightly disappointed at the grouping of the 'youngsters' in this way. We all know bonj has an immense capacity for thread spoiling, and generalisations about young people, respect, not forgetting spelling and grammar, are slightly unjust, if coincidentally applicable in this situation.
