I'll tell you whats freaky, I was reading your post, and thinking, it is a bit squishy, clicked to the next page, and at that point Bonj seems to have sorted it out, so it didn't seem squished anymore. Weird.

Ahh, that's better. Looks more like a proper king now as opposed to some Shakesperian freak tragedy victim.

I got to page 5 and skipped to the end as I was bored. Wish I hadn't now in light of the above.

From what I did read, I think the so-called grown-ups might need to lighten up and the mods might need to be a bit more assertive in deleting posts. I agree the Teenage Four can go very OT, but delete the posts when they've had their say. They won't mind - I wouldn't think they are too concerned with the historical record - and maybe extend the same to the so-called adults.

I don't know these people - spoken to YU once or twice - but they seem pretty ok people to me. I don't want them to leave. I like their contributions, mostly.

Oh, Dave! On the same vein, why not delete the entire tea thread? I'm sure no-one's bothered about the historical record.

Hmmm, shouldn't a tea thread be strained or sieved?

Well, if you deleted the tea thread, alot of the people on here wouldnt know what to do. Sort of like getting a big tray of rats, and just dropping them in the middle of a floor. They will all run around not knowing what to do, then go and hide.
Most of the people in the tea thread will do this.

I have to say that Bonj is making a fair point.

Some of the youngsters on the forum have behaved like prats, but then so have some of the old 'uns; and generally there seems to be a lot less tolerance of their misdemeanours than the there is of equally crass behaviour from older forum members.

Now where was that point you made earlier about shutting the younger members on their own little forum.........

I think you'll find that Mr 5N would be more than happy to see the "Tea?" thread disappear for ever.

Come on how often have you seen a tray of rats.

Waiter: I can recommend the rats tonight sir.
Diner: Splendid, I'll have a tray of rats for starters, followed by the small plague of locusts please.
Waiter: Yes sir and can I recommend the infestation of chocolate ants for dessert?
